Tell us about your lot, property location, financing status, investment experience, estimated budget, and whether you plan to rent or sell the completed duplex.
Our team reviews your property information, financing position, investment goals, and documentation to determine whether the project meets our initial requirements. If additional information or documentation is needed, our team will contact you before the project moves forward.
Projects that meet our initial readiness requirements are invited to move forward with our team. At this stage, we confirm project details and determine the next steps needed for plan, construction, and financing review.
Qualified projects move into the plan-review phase. We identify a duplex plan option and determine whether it is appropriate for the lot, local building requirements, project budget, and investment strategy. Plans may require modification, engineering, architectural review, or local approval depending on the property and jurisdiction.
Our construction team develops the project scope, specifications, and construction budget based on the approved project.
Bring your own approved construction financing or, when appropriate, request an introduction to one of our financing relationships.
Once plans, budget, financing, and required documentation are approved, we finalize the construction agreement and prepare for permitting and construction.
Our construction team manages the building process from the ground up while keeping you informed as your duplex moves toward completion.
Once construction is complete, you decide how the duplex fits into your investment strategy. Build-and-hold investors can prepare the property for rental income, while build-and-sell investors may work with our REALTORS® to market and sell the completed duplex.
